Customer Service
All systems are specified by experienced staff, provided with customer training on installation and offered with 12 months warranty. After the first year we will be pleased to offer a quotation for either a service or comprehensive maintenance contract to be agreed on a yearly basis.
In addition to maintaining our own installed systems, CAMS® will be pleased to attend most systems installed by others or provide quotations for annual service contracts.
SECURITY
Internally
1)When the premises are unoccupied:-
The threat is most likely to be the period when the premises are unoccupied, in which case an intruder alarm system will provide the necessary protection.
2)When the premises are occupied:-
To prevent prowlers from entering your premises, doors can be controlled with access control systems and/or by observation with CCTV.
Externally
1)When the premises are unoccupied:-
CCTV systems can observe and record events on site.
Most beneficial are systems which detect the presence of a person and transmit the pictures off site to a manned centre which can observe events to establish whether the person present is an intending customer or a criminal threat.
Depending on the level of threat, the operator can either broadcast instructions to the person on site using loudspeakers on site or advise the police of a crime taking place.
2)When the premises are occupied:-
When the premises are occupied the CCTV system can be used as a management tool. For example,
a)it can be used by the sales team to observe if customers are on site requiring assistance.
b)the service reception staff can observe the progress of a customer´s vehicle being serviced, such as it is just going through the car wash and therefore be ready for collection in 10 minutes.

FIRE
Fire Alarm
Fire alarm systems are designed by CAMS to meet any grade or standard required and, if needed, alarm signals may be sent to the Fire Brigade from automatic systems thereby protecting the premises when unoccupied.
Fire Extinguishers
CAMS will specify the type and the locations where Portable Fire Extinguishers should be fitted. CAMS supply and fit extinguishers, along with signs for their use and signs for occupants escape routes, to meet fire protection requirements.
Fire Extinguisher Training
We offer training in the use of fire extinguishers which may be held either at our premises in Stevenage or at your own premises.
Responsibility under The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order
It is now a duty of the responsible person under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order, which came into force on 1st October 2006, to maintain fire fighting equipment by a competent person. Fire fighting equipment includes fire alarms and fire extinguishers.
CAMS® will be pleased to offer free advice and provide a quotation for CAMS® to test your fire detection and fire fighting equipment so as to meet your statutory requirement.
